math 8

I am learning about telling time. If a clock was cut into four equal pieces, each part would have fifteen minutes. This means that fifteen minutes is one quarter of an hour. If it is 1:15 you can say "it's a quarter past 1" because one quarter has passed. If two quarters pass you would say "it is half past 1" because two quarters is half of an hour. If three quarters pass it's a little bit different. You say "it's a quarter till 2" because it's so close to the next hour.

social studies 8

I learned about the Cherokee people in a Brain Pop jr video

science 8

I watched a generation genius video and learned about balanced and unbalanced forces.

I learned that force has both strength and direction. unbalanced forces cause an object to change its motion and

balanced forces do not cause a change in motion.

that's all I learned

math 7

I learned in my math lesson about multiplying by 100 1,000 and 10,000

if you multiply by 1 the number stays the same. when you multiply by 100, the number also stays the same but you add two 0's to it. same with 1,000 you add three 0's. For 10,000 its four 0's.
